At Segovia, Jim leads national restaurant dealmaking through the Site Source Network, where he coordinates coast-to-coast site calls with growth-minded brands. His deal roster includes well-known QSR and fast casual names like Schlotzsky’s, Dairy Queen, IHOP, and Jamba Juice. In recent years, he has expanded his restaurant focus to include fine dining concepts, elevated sports bars, and rising stars such as Mavis Discount Tire and 360 Brunch House.
Jim is known for taking retail centers from concept to 100% occupancy by partnering with developers, unlocking value in high-growth markets including Frisco, Prosper, McKinney, Mansfield, and Wylie. Developers consistently rely on Jim’s instinct for identifying prime retail corners, evaluating land for highest-and-best-use, and driving strong financial performance.

Before joining Segovia Partners in 2019, Jim spent a decade at John T. Evans Company, where he was consistently a top performer, leading transactions with national restaurant chains and retail developers. Prior to that, he gained valuable experience with CBRE, further sharpening his market insight and transactional execution.
Jim is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and remains deeply engaged in the evolving retail landscape.
