David began his career in real estate fresh out of college in 2000, and 20 years later has joined with other founders to launch Segovia Partners, a Dallas based real estate consulting firm. Over the course of time David has focused his career to follow his passion, helping tenants with all their real estate needs, and today works primarily with tenant clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.

Tenants, landlords, brokers and consultants from across the country seek out David for his expertise throughout a large geographic area, his wide ranging experience with retailers and restaurants of many different types, and his deep familiarity with a large variety of shopping center types.

David’s current and former clients include: Gap, Inc (Gap, Banana Republic, Old Navy, and Athleta), L Brands (Victoria’s Secret and Bath & Body Works), Torrid, Hot Topic, Boot Barn, 5.11 Tactical, Planet Fitness, Primrose Schools, Kirkland’s, Forever 21, Children’s Place, Tilly’s, Rue 21, New York & Co, Wet Seal, Levi’s and many others. He has rolled out over 100 units for Kirkland’s, over 60 for L Brands, over 50 for Gap, Inc, and over 40 for Torrid/Hot Topic. These transactions have occurred in 13 different states across the southern half of the United States with Landlords such as, Simon, Macerich, Kimco, Brixmor, Stirling, Weingarten, Blackstone, Edens, and RED to name a few.


Family

David is a native of Dallas, TX and it remains home for him, Julia, his wife of 20 years, and their 2 daughters Aubrey and Leila. A licensed pilot, David is passionate about all things aviation. He loves the outdoors especially hunting and fishing. Together the family loves traveling, dining out, being with friends and family, and are active in their local church. David and Julia enjoy being involved with their church and are passionate in supporting their alma mater, as well as local organizations dedicated to those less fortunate, the hungry and the elderly.
