AE Restaurant Group Opens Doors to the First of 60 hoots wings Locations in Franchise Agreement
LITTLE ELM, Texas— Hoots Wings has announced the opening of its first franchise location in Little Elm, Texas – slated to open on Monday, July 19. The fast-casual wing restaurant will be housed in the Little Elm Corners Shopping Center, on the SW corner of US380 and Navo Road, located at 26742 E University Dr., Aubrey, TX 76227.
Behind the location is Dallas-based AE Restaurant Group, led by Cary and Jackie Albert, who signed a deal for 60 franchise locations in the state of Texas back in February.
The Alberts became the first franchisees in hoots wings’ history to ink an agreement, with a development focus in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and Austin areas. The Alberts have another eight locations in development, seven in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth areas and one in the greater Austin area, set to open by year-end. The husband-and-wife duo plan to open 10-15 locations each year, on pace to open all 60 locations by XX.

Hoots Wings is best known for its wings and the variety of sauces and rubs available. Customers have the choice of five cooking options (breaded, smoked, naked, boneless, or roasted) and twenty options of sauces and dry rubs. Sauces and dry rubs range in heat from the righteous reaper, spicy garlic, and garlic habanero to the milder everything bagel and parmesan garlic. Along with its wings, the menu includes shrimp, chicken sandwiches, salads, and sides like fries, fried pickles, mac and cheese, and coleslaw.
The seasoned restaurant entrepreneurs bring 27 years of experience into this venture. Since 1994, the Alberts have been franchise owners of Schlotzsky’s, a fast-casual restaurant chain specializing in sandwiches. Over the years, Cary and Jackie have grown that business to 30 locations.
